jvg2018 I would say, do not worry. My personal H-1B dropbox experience at the counter is
- the officer asked for 4 or 5 documents that are actually needed. I have a few more, but he said not needed.
- asked if my DS160 details are correct.
- picked the best photographs needed - I've taken 2 sets of photos got from 2 different photo studios.
So, as long as your DS-160 details are correct, (if not refil with correct ones, give the new DS-160 to the official) mention to them that your passport issuance date is incorrect, ask them to correct it. DS-160 goes to the US office, the details on the visa portal stay at the OFC/Biometrics records.
P.S: There is no guarantee the official will do the changes, but I don't see any reason to not help us out. Just be curtious and pleasing.
